Enjoy the Magic

Celebrating International Fairy Day with an art journal layout.

In a Strathmore Mixed Media Journal, some time ago, a warm background was made using spray inks and homemade liquid watercolours.  Magazine clippings and die cut scraps were collected and paired with the background, waiting to be collaged.  A Prima doll stamped in Ranger Archival ink on paper scraps and a clear embossed scrap butterfly pair nicely with a junk greeting card, previously used to clean a stencil.  Additional colour was added to the old card with some distress inks and gel crayons.

Fussy cut flowers, die cut cardstock letters and words cut from magazines finished the layout with a reminder to Enjoy the Magic.

I hope you all enjoy my layout and if you have any questions about my process or materials used, please feel free to ask in comments.  Have fun blog hopping on this day of Fairy appreciation!
