Dr. Dreadful and his magnetic personality

Welcome one and all to my entry in Leslierahye's Halloween steampunk blog hop.  This year I used Graphic 45's Steampunk Spells paper to create a spooky fridge magnet.

Beware of the frightful Dr. Dreadful, his brews and potions are deadly.  If you do not proceed with caution you may be skeletonized like the poor victim in the background.  The Recollections clear stamp skeleton was stamped in versamark ink and embossed clear.  The potion bottles and name label were fussy cut from GR 45 paper, the doctor himself was cut from the front cover of the 12x12 pad. Fiskars paper edger scissors added the 'stamp' edge.  The potions and name label are popped up with foam tape to create a 3D look.  Black Distress ink was used to grunge the whole piece up.  The very bottom layer (unseen) is a sheet of adhesive backed magnet purchased from the dollar store.  I am very pleased with how well the magnet handles the weight of all the papers I asked it to support.  The adhesives used were Miracle tape and Scraperfect Best glue ever.
Thank you for stopping by.  I wish you all a very steampunk Halloween, happy hopping!
