Clockwork Arachnid

A dollarstore doily, some die cut gears and keys, and this great spiderweb paper that was designed by my friend Vincent Ballard were used to create this simple steampunk Halloween table decoration.  The clockwork spider is made up of several heavily embossed die cut pieces that I had remaining from my first ever steampunk project.  Viva Las Vegastamps' spooky "all hallow's eve" was stamped in one corner of the web.  Distress inks were used to tie the printed paper in with the paper doily.  If you would like to to make something with Vince's super cool spider web paper you are in luck as he has generously offered it for free on his blog Crafty Moments.
