Leslierahye's Earthday Blog Hop Mini Album

I am so excited to be, for the very first time, involved in a blog hop.  When I was asked to be involved I gathered up a bunch of materials, like squashed toilet paper tubes, and started in on a mini album.
Using A.J.'s Digi Shoppe's Freebie Friday paper I covered the flattened TP rolls.  Rectangles were cut from light recycled card and painted and paper covered. The edges were inked with distress ink and Deco Arts acrylic paint.  The tp rolls and inserts were decorated with 3D stickers from the Dollarstore that I altered with Bic Mark-Its and Sharpies.
Using watercolour paper, Archival Ink (Ranger), Distress Ink (Ranger), and stamps I created additional embellishments. Holes were punched in the flattened tubes and they were bound together with dollarstore ribbon. The ribbon was also used to create the pulls on the insert cards. All in all I think it made for a very nice mini Earthday album. I hope you enjoyed it, now It is time for you to hop on :)

Hopping down the bunny trail...

A.J.'s Digi Shoppe now offers some very nice Easter digital papers.  The eggs are made from this lovely paper and then embossed using clear or light distress embossing ink with clear and shimmer powders. The bunny, which is the April 2012 edition A.J.'s Digi Shoppe Newsletter's freebie digi, was coloured with watercolor pencils and Bic Mark Its.  The background is a cut up and re-arranged distress inked coffee filter, and some green cardstock.  Foam tape was used to create a popped up effect with the ring of eggs and was doubled to really add dimension to the bunny.
